Wurm im Apfel's wurmfest festival takes place over the coming weekend, December 4-6, at 'The Complex' in Dublin's Smithfield Square. This is a great new initiative providing an opportunity to encounter some really exciting poetic voices from across Europe. Programme details are available on the wurmfest website.

Earlier this month I contributed a performative paper at the international conference 'Poetry's Environments' organised and hosted by  Poetry@Leeds  at The University of Leeds. The conference took place over three days (9-11 June 2026) at Cloth Court Hall in Leeds city centre and the University of Leeds campus. EUROPOE (Kingston University Press) & European Poetry Festival 2019

I am very pleased to have two pieces in EUROPOE , an exciting and remarkable anthology of contemporary European poetry published by Kingston University Press. Compiled and edited by SJ Fowler , and published to coincide with the 2nd European Poetry Festival, EUROPOE showcases 60 of Europe's most innovative poets, the vast majority writing from an avant-garde standpoint. Inhabiting Distances at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale

Two poems from my second book The Architecture of Chance,  as well as an excerpt from my as yet unpublished long poem 'Capital' , are featured in Anachoresis: Upon Inhabiting Distances , an anthology accompanying the Cyprus entry at the 17th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The Cyprus Pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia "addresses the spatial experiences that occur when inhabiting distances becomes a paradigm for the development of new socialities. The notion of anachoresis, as explicated by Roland Barthes in  How to Live Together , denotes an abrupt departure into spaces of atypical and idiorrhythmic manifestations of cohabitation."
