Belleville Park Pages No. 30

Belleville Park Pages is a publication printed on paper every two weeks, while also publishing various online pieces each month. Edited from London and Paris by James Bird and Will Cox, and currently stocked in 29 bookshops in 9 countries (including Books Upstairs and The Winding Stair in Dublin - as well as Foyles in London, Shakespeare & Co in Paris and City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco among others) each print issue is a hand-folded and hand-packaged creamy A3 broadsheet. Page 30 , published last week, includes my poem 'Consequences'. My thanks to Will for seeking it out for publication. (There are actually four different editions of No. 30, each with a different festive recipe amongst the poetry and short stories from guest chefs from restaurants in Oslo, kitchens in London and home pantries in Ludlow.) The Stinging Fly issue 22/vol 2 (Summer 2012)

Guest editors can charge magazines with an energy and relevance they had hitherto only potentially or theoretically possessed - and this could not be better illustrated than with this latest issue of The Stinging Fly,  edited by Dave Lordan.  The Stinging Fly has established a reputation as the "go-to" place for those in Ireland looking for new and exciting writing, but when it comes to poetry it has fallen a little short of doing something truly remarkable or breaking the mould. With this issue, Lordan, a singular presence in Ireland's contemporary poetry scene, has sought to rectify this - while his notes on its editing articulate refreshing views on writing, editing and criticism. I'm happy he has chosen to include my poem 'The Executioner's Confession' in his issue. Icarus Magazine 75th Anniversary Edition (Vol LXXV | Issue III)

I was happy to contribute new work to the landmark 75th Anniversary Edition of Icarus , Trinity College Dublin's student literary magazine, as one of eight featured contemporary writers. This edition , published in the last week of August 2025, also includes material from current Trinity College students, and a number of legacy contributions reproduced from the magazine's archives. The other featured writers are Paula Meehan, Paul Lynch, Catherine Prasifka, Eoin McNamee, Louise Nealon, Paul Durcan, and Gustav Parker Hibbett. Icarus is "the oldest continuous literary journal in Ireland and the UK". Since 1950 it has been publishing poetry, prose, drama, personal essays and visual art from students, staff and alumni of Trinity College Dublin, including work by Simon Armitage, William Burroughs, Seamus Heaney, Eavan Boland, Paul Muldoon, and Louis MacNeice.
